POWELL, C. John

In Loving Memory of John Cameron Powell 65 years Thursday, June 5th, 2014 at his residence. Beloved husband of Ann Elizabeth (Mulligan) Powell predeceased 2006. Loving father of John (wife Cindy) and Sherri (husband Chris MacCready). Cherished Poppa of Jonah and Rebecca. Dear son of John and Patricia (Potts) Powell both predeceased. Loving brother of Cheryl Bruno. Special uncle to Trisha (husband James Moore) and Jody (husband Dave Third). John had been an electrician with Falconbridge Ltd. for 32 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was a proud member of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. He spent many happy times at his camp on Lake Agnew. John will be remembered for his great sense of humour and devotion to his loving family. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Monday and after 10am Tuesday). Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 at 11:30am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the St. John Cemetery, Garson. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sam Bruno PET Scanner Fund would be appreciated.
