In Loving Memory of Juliette Marie Jean Burmaster 91 years Passed away Sunday, July 4th, 2010 at the Pioneer Manor. Juliette (Lefebvre) Burmaster, beloved wife of Gordon J. Burmaster (predeceased). Born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, Juliette came to Sudbury at the age of 14. The youngest of 14 children (all predeceased), growing up on a farm with her siblings she was not afraid of hard work. Softball was her pastime as a child and teenager. She had several jobs in her long life, one as a waitress at the Hard Rock Café but the most important one of all, our mother: she loved children. She also loved travelling with her husband Gordon. Florida was home away from home for both of them in the winter months. While she was a resident at Pioneer Manor, she made many friends. She enjoyed playing Bocce ball and listening to music always brought a smile to mom’s face. She wasn’t camera shy! Mom loved her flowers, and she was a woman of character, that’s for sure. Beloved mother of Florence MacPherson (husband Glenn) of Onaping, Susan, Theresa, Ron (wife Carole), Jeannette Vaillant all of Sudbury, Liliane Freisting of Thunder Bay, Mike on Ontario, Frank of Wingham, Leo of Elliot Lake. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Troy, Amy, Adam, Michael, Rose, Carole, J.P., Ann, Patrick, Dan, Clint, Karen, Chad, Taylor-Ann, and Paige, as well as 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
