UNDERWOOD, Carol May - Passed away at 1:30 p.m. June 22nd at Sudbury Regional Hospital in the presence of her husband and children. Josh Sklar of All Nations Church helped her find peace. She was born in Moncton, New Brunswick to Etta (Rutledge) and Reverend Gordon Beckett on May 10, 1935, Husband, Earl cherished her love. David MacDormand, Susan Bigras (David), Vicki Lafave (Todd) will miss a loving and wonderful mother and a close friend. Grandchildren Corey Bigras, Shelby Lafave and Cody Lafave all held her close, as did her brothers and sisters, Gertrude Templeton (Bert), Humbert Beckett (Audrey), Stan Beckett (Kay) and Pauline Waldman (Dave, deceased). Carol loved to travel and covered much of the world in her early days. She and Earl traveled Canada and the United States enjoying churches and activities wherever they went. She also enjoyed spending time and sharing activities with her children and grandchildren. She shared and enjoyed the All Nations small group meetings and activities. Carol was loved and treasured by many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at LOUGHEED'S FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury. www.lougheeds.com.
