KING, Robert Campbell – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bobby Kinger following a courageous fight with cancer, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the age of 64. Best friend and beloved spouse to Sharon Dixon of Fonthill. Loving father to Peter and Sam King and their mother Patty of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by brother Jim (Sue) of Cambridge and sister Shelley and mother Noreen of North Bay. Uncle to Robert and Steffanie (Justin). Sadly missed by the Dixon family of Hamilton – Kenny, Margee (Rick), Ken Sr. (Sharon), Chad (Raquel). Bobby worked for Gillette Canada for 30 years retiring in 2001 and has spent the last eleven years with Sharon in the Niagara Region. In his younger years, Bobby was an all-round athlete, respected hockey coach and mentor to numerous youth in the Sudbury area for 32 years. In his retirement golfing the summers with Sharon and together enjoying winter vacations in Myrtle Beach. Bobby will be missed at The Greens at Brock where in his retirement he worked part time and spent afternoons on the driving range. The family welcomes friends to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL & RECEPTION CENTRE (2250 Hwy 20, Fonthill 905-892-1699) on Saturday, October 20. Visitation from 10 a.m – 12 noon followed by a service in the funeral home chapel beginning at 12 noon. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Niagara Support Group) in Bobby’s memory would be greatly appreciated by his family. Bobby now rests in peace with his father Cam. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
