DELONGCHAMP, Isabelle (née Guimond) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Friday, June 07, 2013 in Sudbury at the age of 90. Daughter of the late Elzéar and Albina (née Bergeron) Guimond. Predeceased by her husband Roméo Delongchamp in 2005. Loving mother of Felix (late Françoise) of Lively, Louis, Eric, George (Wilma) all of Sudbury, Rita (Don Osborne), Diane (Paul Vaillancourt) both of Edmonton. Predeceased by all her siblings; Lucien (late Yvonne), Yvette, Antoinette, Anika, Lily-May Moise (late Alec), Annette Fex (late Joe), Alpha (late Aurore) and Josephat. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sophie, Tania, Patrick, Johanna, Christopher, Danielle, Céleste, Céline, Greg and Karen. An extraordinary mother and grandmother she was a Registered Nurse last employed at Laurentian University Health Services for 20 years. Served as a Board member of Children's Aid Society for 3 terms. Member of Ste-Anne des Pins Parish Council for many years. She founded a French language investment club “Club Bel Mar“ in 1964 which is still functioning today. Also co-founder of an Educational Program for Seniors EL-AL-SISA at University of Sudbury. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, June 9th, 2013 from 2- 5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 10th, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Ste-Anne des Pins Church, Sudbury.
