MORISSETTE, J. Laurette (Vaillancourt)

The family wishes to announce the passing of their mother, Laurette Morissette (nee Vaillancourt), 94 years, Sunday October 20th, 2013 at the Meadowbrook Residence. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Morissette. Predeceased by her parents, Priscilla (nee Foisy) and Edouard Vaillancourt, her brother Jacques and grandson Terry Ferro. Loving mother of Gisele (husband Tony Ferro) of Sheguiandah, On, Andre (wife Claudette predeceased) and Carol (husband Norm MacLean) both of Sudbury. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Lisa (husband Pierre Cazabon), Laura (partner Joel Daze) and Linda (husband Shawn Chartrand). Will always be remembered by her great grandchildren Vanessa, Ryan, Giulia, Sofia, Adrien and William. The family is deeply grateful for the care, love and support, Laurette received, from Dr. Susil and the staff at the Meadowbrook. A very special heartfelt thank you to Father George Gardner of St. Bernard’s Parish, Little Current and Todd Duhamel, Lively. The family will honour Laurette’s wishes of no visitation, no funeral. Cremation will be followed by interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
