CORAZZA, Lucia (CREATURA)

In Loving Memory of Lucia (nee Creatura) Corazza Peacefully Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at the Health Sciences North with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Giovanni Corazza predeased 1994. Loving mother of Alessandro “Alex” Corazza predeceased 1985 and Silvana Corazza. Cherished daughter of Nicola and Maria Grazia Creatura both predeceased. Loving sister of Fredi Creatura (Angela), Corona Zanatta (Bruno predeceased), Nina Verrilli (Francesco), Mike Creatura (Liliana), Maria Petrin (Vittorio), Elia Salerno (Bruno), Fiorenzo Creatura (Peggy). Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Italy, Lucia came to Canada in 1954 marrying Giovanni Corazza in 1955. She had been a clerk at Loblaws for many years retiring in 1995. She was member of Caruso Club Ladies Auxiliary. A devout Roman Catholic she attended St. Andrew the Apostle Church and belonged to the parish CWL. An avid gardener she had a green thumb that produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. A dedicated volunteer Lucia was quick to help others. A faithful walker and good neighbor the light of the life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Tuesday with parish prayers 3pm Tuesday) Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church 1250 Barrydowne Rd, Sudbury Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11am. Interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery In lieu of flowers donations to St. Andrew the Apostle Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
