SAVAGE, C. Mary 'Cathy' (Wickie)

In Loving Memory of Mary Catherine “Cathy” Savage (nee Wickie) Tuesday, April 15th, 2014 at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Don Savage predeceased. Cherished daughter of Albert and Mary Wickie both predeceased. Lovingly remembered by brothers Dennis (Irene), Allen (Gail), Dana Wickie, sister Margie (Jonas) Raskevicius, nephews John, Daniel, Damian, Matthew, Albert, and August Wickie, Jacob, Michael and Thomas Raskevicius; great nieces and nephews Megan, Madison, Ashleigh, Abby and Ryan Wickie and Lucia Raskevicius; cousins Brian (Yvonne) Kevin, Christianne and Andree Commons; Bobby (Lucy), Jimmy, Tommy (Eileen), Sarah, Christine and Tommy John Bailey, Sharon (O’Brien) and Jack Love and numerous cousins from the Stratford area including Annabelle (Renecker) Piggot and Margaret Steinbach. Predeceased by aunts and uncles Margaret O’Brien, Tommy and Anne (O’Brien) Hoare, Norma (O’Brien) and Joe Commons and Inez (O’Brien) and John Bailey; and numerous other aunts and uncles from the Stratford, Ontario area. Cathy enjoyed living in Sarnia, the French River and Sudbury areas and had many years with Don at the French River hosting family and friends with many memorable trips on their pontoon boat. Cathy and Don enjoyed travelling and spent many happy winters in Florida. Her love of gatherings and celebrations was endearing and dancing and a good sing-along were always a part of her life. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call 5-8pm Wednesday and after 10am Thursday). Funeral Prayers in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at 11am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
