The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Husband of the late Norma (née Down) Markle. Predeceased by his parents Jerry and Winnifred Markle. Beloved father of John and Scott Markle. Loving brother of Jeanne Jenne and Mirna Gropp. Predeceased by his brother Grant Markle. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Ontario Federation of Hunters and Anglers.
