In Loving Memory of John Douglas Cram July 25th, 1935 to April 19th, 2014 John died peacefully at his home in Sudbury, surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife Jo-Anne Cram (nee Seaman), his children Dawn Condon (husband Michael), Douglas Cram (wife Susan), Jennifer Cram, Robert Cram, Andrea Cram (partner David Moncion), and his grandchildren Heather and Jakob Condon, Mathew and Victoria Cram and Emery Moncion. Also survived by his sister Dorthea Hembruff (nee Cram). Predeceased by his father John R. Cram, mother Clara-Bell Cram (nee Johnson) and sisters Phyllis (Barbara) Lawrence (nee Cram) and Margaret Cashmore (nee Cram). John was a life-long resident of Sudbury, a former Militia Reservist with the 2nd Irish Regiment of Canada and a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was involved in his community and volunteered much of his time during our growing years to local playgrounds and coaching hockey. Dad loved the camp on Fairbanks and spent as much time as he could there with his family and the inevitable large family dinners that resulted whenever we gathered. He was quietly proud of the brood. He loved working with his hands and spent many hours in his workshop working with wood and creating many piles of sawdust. He left us too early, I’m afraid, as he has now left us with the enormous task of going through those cans of salvaged nails and piles of “good wood”. Make us something wonderful Dad, and be good. We will all miss you very much.
