The family announces with sorrow, his peaceful passing at his residence, Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the age of 55 years. Loving son of Eva St Martin (née Paquette) and of the late René Joseph St Martin. Beloved father of Codie St Martin. Dear brother of Raymond (Marianne), Simone Fitzpatrick (Mark), Florine Atkins (Ken), Yvon (Linda) and Suzanne Babe (Paul). Predeceased by his brother Roger (Jean). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews: Pauline, Danny, René, Patrick, Roger, Christine, Julie, Mary, Nicole, Anne-Louise, Steve, Brad, Kevin, Genevieve, Jessica, Zack, Nick and by many relatives and friends. Lovingly remembered by his special friend Bernadette “Bernie” and Billy. Marcel will be remembered for his great passion of riding his motorcycle as well as fundraising in several cancer research rides. Mr. St Martin worked as a Structural Steel Estimator for Patrick Mechanical Ltd. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E., Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
