In Loving Memory of Joyce Yvonne (Dale) Stevenson 67 years Thursday, July 10th, 2014 at Newcastle, Ont. Beloved wife of Clayton Stevenson of Newcastle. Loving mother of Jennifer Stevenson (Steven Sloan) of Toronto, Melissa Ali (Ismail) of Barrie and Lana Purdon (Joel) of Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Noah, Jabril and Jameelah. Dear daughter of Ivan and Ruby Dale both predeceased. Dear sister of Rosemary Dale (John Sutherland) of Toronto and Lana Dale (Leo Blondin) of Kingston. Born in Sudbury, she married Clayton in 1970. Joyce graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in the same year and served as a registered nurse for 34 years. She returned to university late in life completing her B.Sc.N., going on to teach nursing at Laurentian University and Georgian College. She enjoyed volunteering with swimming, boating in the North Channel and spoiling her family. At Joyce’s request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation.
