BELZILE, Amédée

It is with great sorrow that the Belzile family announces his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 22th, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Gabrielle (née Démoré) of Sudbury. Son of the lates Louis Belzile and Rose Delima Gagnon. Loving father of Richard (Suzanne) and Annyse Poulson (Barry) both of Sudbury, Gilles (Lise) of Hanmer and Liette (Michel) of Montreal. Predeceased by his son Jean-Yves and his siblings Marcel, Henri, Charles, Lionel, Roch, Berthe Potvin, Donat and Laura St-Pierre. Cherished brother of Arnel (Gisèle) of Val Caron, Délia Leclair and Aline Belzile both of Sudbury and Rolande Maslanka of Montreal. Dear grandfather of Lise, Laura-Lyne, Julie and predeceased granddaughter—Lee Ann. Proud and active member of the Knights of Columbus, Amédée was a 4th degree member of the St-Jacques Assembly of the council 5005 St-Jacques. He was also a respected and decorated War Veteran. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday July 24th 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at Paroisse St-Jacques, Hanmer.
