The family of John Thomas Wotton would like to announce that in the early evening hours of August 21st, 2014, John went home to walk with the Lord.
John was a man of great faith, a valiant warrior who loved life and touched many hearts with his wonderful sense of humour.
We would like to express our appreciation to the medical teams in Sudbury and Toronto for their amazing compassion during John’s lengthy illness. Most notable, Dr. Cano, Dr. Knight, Dr. Mariani and Rose Hanlon (Northeast Cancer Center, Sudbury), Dr. Bernstein (Brain Mets Clinic, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto), Glen Legault (Warm Hearts, Sudbury), Stacey Horner (Bayshore Home Health, Sudbury) and volunteers with the Volunteer Driver Program at the Canadian Cancer Society. With special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury.
John lived his life by his words. “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”.
