Grandchildren Devon, Codi, Janice, Jamie and Noah. Brothers Guy wife Lorraine, Marc wife Monique, sisters Lise, Nicole husband Mike, and Liette husband Claude, as well as many nieces and nephews. In the words of grandson Devon: He was the type of quick witted smart ass that could brighten your day no matter what your mood was. The kind of guy who would chat you up in a grocery line and always leave you with a smile. He was caring, kind, dedicated and loving to (almost) everyone he met. He was hard working, ambitious and never gave up, but the one thing he held closest was family. He showed and taught us many things about life, love, work and many things under the sun. He told us stories about the good old days, but mostly he never gave up on any of us. We will never forget that big smile, deep hearty laugh or that last hug, which we will hold on to forever. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Rotary Hospice House, Prince George B.C. for the phenomenal care give to Gilles and the compassion shown to us during our time of need.
