In Loving Memory of Daniel Gerald Payette 59 years Peacefully, Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Beloved husband of Cheryl Payette (nee Naveau) of Gogama. Loving father of Marsha Payette, and Daniel Jr. and grandfather of four. Dear son of Gerald Payette of Gogama and Mildred (Eno) of Calgary. Dear brother of Roderic of Calgary, Paul (Marica) of Sudbury, Laurie Vollstaedt (Larry) of Calgary and Peter (Carole) of Calgary. A master carpenter, Daniel took exceptional pride in his work. He was an avid fisherman, and loved playing his guitar. The family wish to extend a special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at Health Sciences North and the Maison Vale Hospice, Doctors and Staff for their compassionate care of Daniel. A special thank you for all the support the Mattagami First Nation has provided. Memorial Service at the Gogama Community Centre Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.) Interment to follow in the Gogama Cemetery. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice or Gogama Helping Hands would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury.
