The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 at the age of 70 years. Wife of the late Constant Gareau. Daughter of the late William and of the late Rose (née Lamontagne) Cartier. Beloved mother of Judy Obelich (Frank) of BC and Monique Trudel (Jeff) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Roger Cartier, Leonard Cartier, Claire Roy and Rose-Marie Malott. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Bryan, Joceline and Curtis. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
