WESNO, John

With great sadness the family announces the passing of John Wesno, 74 years, after a courageous battle against cancer.  Predeceased by wife Helen, parents Michael and Anna Wesno.  Survived by loving children Sue (Denis) Guibert, Mike (Ina) Wesno and Cathy (Chris) Fountain.  Very proud grandfather to Eric and Alexander (Guibert), Bethany (Wesno) and Jonathan (Fountain).  Also survived by sister Helen (Charles) Lloyd and family as well as many extended relations.  John was a retired Professional Engineer who enjoyed spending time with family, attending the Laurentian Gym, and had a great passion for hockey.  The family would like to thank the staff at Maison Vale Hospice for their compassionate care of John as well as family doctor Dr. Marc Dube.  Visitation to be held from 2-4 on Saturday September 20th, 2014 at Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
