VECCIA, ELIO 'Lee'

The family announces with great sadness the sudden passing of Elio (Lee) Veccia on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.  Beloved husband of Joanne Nelson (Keaney). Loving father of Robert (Deborah) Veccia and Jody-Anne Veccia. Loving step-father of Scott (Judit) Nelson. Cherished Papa of Zander, Addisyn, Patrick, Brian and Sarah. Dear brother of Bruna Souliere (Larry predeceased) and Rolando (Carmen) Veccia (predeceased). Elio was a former member of the Ontario Provincial Police and retired from the Underwriters Adjustment Bureau/CGI Adjusters. Lee’s greatest joy was being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.  At Lee’s request there will be no visitation or service Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations in honour of Lee can be directed to the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury.
