CARRIER, Leo

With sorrow the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Loving husband of 56 years to Elizabeth (nee Piaskoski).  Loving Dad of Lee, son-in-law Chris, and Stacey.  King Leopold and Prince Hans a.k.a. “Grampy” to Princess Chelsea his cherished granddaughter.  Predeceased by parents David and Anastasia Carrier (nee Savoie) and siblings Wilfred, Jimmy, Bobby, Toni, and Eva. Survived by his sister Shirley and husband Wes Beacock and brother Phil and wife Nonie.  Favorite Uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Leo was never happier than when he was playing his guitar and singing.  His love of music brought pleasure to his family and everyone who knew him.  Our heartfelt thanks to everyone on the 4th floor who cared for Leo in any way, you are special people. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Onaping Falls Legion Hall from 11 to 2.  As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Onaping Falls Food Bank or the Levack Public School Breakfast Club.
