“A golden heart stopped beating, working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.”  In Loving Memory of Michele Filice 88 years Who passed away peacefully Sunday, September 28th, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, and now united with the love of his life, Caterina Filice, predeceased 2008.  Loving father of Pino (Anna), Teresa (Henry Mentrycki) both of Sudbury, he loved Anna and Henry like his own children. Cherished Nonno of Jessica, Marco, Steven (Michelle), Adam (Krista), and great grandchildren Catina, James and Bryson. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Teresina Filice and also predeceased by his 3 loving brother in laws Vincenzo, Sylvio and Frank Carbone. Michele always cherished their memories, survived by brother in law Jack Carbone (Claudette). Dear brother of Carmelo Filice (Carmelina) of Boston, sisters Maria and Angelina of Piane Crati, Italy. Sadly missed by special cousins of Porco family of Figline Vegliaturo, Italy, Rosetta Maturi of Niagara Falls and many nieces and nephews. “Christ shall clasp the broken chain, closer when we meet again.”  Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Tuesday with Parish Prayers at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday) Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 19 Mary Street, Sudbury Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at 10:30 A.M.
