DUVAL, Thelma (Antler)

The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the age of 85 years.  Wife of the late Fred Duval.  Predeceased by her parents John Frederick and Martha (née Ziebell) Antler.  Beloved mother of Maxine Kempston (Dr. Steve) of St-Catharines and Martha O’Daiskey (Robert) of Lively.  Dear sister of Alice Davies of Fort Erie, Audrey Laaksonen of Lively, Mary Nasby of Saskatchewan and Barbara Brokenshire of Capreol.  Predeceased by her 2 brothers and 3 sisters.  Cherished grandmother of Robbie Stevenson (Michael), Jamie O’Daiskey (Jody), Stephen Kempston (Lindsay) and great-grandmother of Cameron, Gillis, Ben and Brooke.  Predeceased by her grandson Sean Kempston.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel.  As expressions of sympathy, donations (by cheque only) to Pet Save or the Sudbury SPCA would be appreciated.
