In loving memory of Lavern Hope. The family announces with great sorrow Lavern’s passing at his home, peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, on Friday, October 10th, 2014 at the age of 56 years. Son of Gord and Bettie Hope of Hanmer. Husband of Debbie Cameron of Hanmer. Beloved father to Jaimie (Shawn) of Parry Sound and Whitney (Christian) of Chelmsford. Stepfather to Kim (Tony) of Sudbury and Shawn of Hanmer. Dear brother of Lee Hope (Carole), Eugene Hope (Doreen), Shannon Hope (Jennifer) all of Hanmer. Deeply missed by his grandchildren Jaida, Maddox, Myla and his dog Marley. Sadly missed by his brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Lavern was a dedicated, hardworking man with a one of a kind personality. Lavern had a great sense of humour. He loved music, tinkering outdoors and spending the winter months at his beautiful home in the Dominican. At the request of Lavern’s family there will be no visitation or service Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
