WATTS, L. Randolph 'Randy'

In Loving Memory of Randolph 'Randy' Lynwood Watts, 84, of Sudbury, passed away October 13, 2014 at Health Sciences North surrounded by his family. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret 'Maggi'; two sons, Frank (Ann) and Ernie (Sue); two daughters, Heather Taylor, and Dorothy Watts (Guy Stevenson); seven grandchildren, Shannon, Ricky, Courtney, Lindsay, Jordan, Cameron, Curtis and great grandchild Jonah.  Randy was born in Prince Edward Island on January 8th, 1930 to Marjorie and Frank Watts. He is survived by brothers; George (Betty), Sheldon (Marlene), Stanley (Rachelle), Wilfred (Faye); sisters, Norma Waye, and Della Schrader, and sister-in-law Isabel Watts. Dear brother-in-law of Norman MacDonald (Ruth). Predeceased by brothers; Ernie (Emma), Eric (Mariah) and Clayton (Eileen); sister, Josie Hickox (Lloyd); and survived by many loving nieces and nephews.   Randy served in the Korean War from 1951-1955. Randy then met and married Margaret and they moved to Sudbury where they made their home and raised their four children. Upon retiring from Inco after 32 years, Randy enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels, regularly donating blood with the Canadian Blood Services where he was a gold card donor, gardening, spending time with family, caring for his grandchildren and spending winters in Florida with wife Margaret where they made many dear friends.  Many thanks to staff at Extendicare Falconbridge, St. Josephs Villa and sixth floor Health Sciences North.  Funeral Visitation at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Thursday) Memorial Funeral in  Trinity United Church, Lively Friday, October 17th, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. (Friends may gather at the church after 1:00 P.M. Friday) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.  In Lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Society or Trinity United Church Reach Out service.  ""Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation.
