MICK, Kandis (GIROUX)

In loving memory of Kandis Mick (nee Giroux) 31 years After a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Maison Vale Hospice.  Beloved mother of Nolan Mick. Cherished daughter of Lori and Andy Giroux. Loving sister of Kristy McIntyre (Chad) and Kari Bankie (Dean). Dear aunt of Demetrius, London, Finlee and Kennedy. Beloved granddaughter of Winnie McRae and Lyall McRae (predeceased) and Cecile and Wilfred Giroux (both predeceased). Dear sister-in-law of Roddy (Tammy) and aunt of Connor and Brianna. Sadly missed by her dog Lola. She will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kandis had a great sense of humour and was always funny. She loved music and even though it was for a short time she loved nursing. The most important part of her life was her son Nolan. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and volunteers at the Northern Cancer Center and at the Maison Vale Hospice for their care and compassion.  Memorial visitations at the  Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home  233 Larch St., Sudbury On Friday, October 17th, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM  and after 10:30 AM Saturday. Memorial service in the  R. J. Barnard Chapel  on Saturday, October 18th, 2014  at 11:30 AM Cremation with interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
