PATTERSON, Velma (FERGUSON)

In Loving Memory of Velma (nee Ferguson) Patterson 80 years Peacefully Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Donald Patterson predeceased 2000. Loving mother Laurie (husband Wayne Kennedy), Lorne, Ken (wife Felicia). Cherished grandmother of Kandis (husband Scott), Kassidy, Jason, Jessie, Jose, Sakasha, Simone, and great grandchildren Everlee, Lucas, Skyler and Avory. Dear daughter of Dougal and Mary (nee McMillan) Ferguson predeceased. Velma had proudly represented Avon for 40 years. She had been active in the community being a member of the Capreol Seniors Club, the Red Hats and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed gardening and travelling. Velma will be remembered as a real people person who was quick to help others. The light of life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
