The family announces with great sorrow his passing on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Omer and of the late Simone (née Gélinas) Labelle. Predeceased by his wife Jeannette (née Poulin) Labelle. Loving father of Daniel (Diane) of Whitefish, Roger (Lynn) of Azilda and Nicole Jones (Tom) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his son Claude (Sue of Sudbury). Dear brother of Solange Caya (late Hervé), Thérèse Barrette (late Ghyslain) and Ghyslaine Jolette (late Prospère). Predeceased by his brother Jean-Paul. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Christine, Amanda, Brandon, Jasmine, Kaitlin, Justin and Darcy, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle blvd., Sudbury on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
