GERVAIS, Carole-Anne (BERGERON)

A very special song has suddenly stopped playing. It is with profound sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Carole-Anne Gervais (née Bergeron). She slipped away from her loving husband, Rhéal Gervais, in the early morning of October 27th, 2014, at the Arnprior Memorial Hospital. Carole-Anne is predeceased by her mother, Jeannine (née Bradley, 1972) and her father, Dr. Aurèle Bergeron (2010) (Lucienne Raymond). She will be forever remembered by her four sisters, Jocelyne (Claude Thériault), Michèle, Andrée, Josée and brother Pierre (Joanne); by the Gervais family, father-in-law Armand (Jeanne), mother-in-law Thérèse (predeceased 2000) and brothers-in-law Normand (Patricia), Richard, Denis (Maureen) and sister-in-law Nicole, as well as her loving nephews and nieces, many friends and relatives. Carole-Anne's true passion was the love she felt for Rhéal, her husband of 34 years. Hand in hand, they flourished through life, accompanied by lots of laughter and music. Her love of nature was evident in the home she shared with Rhéal in Constance Bay, near Ottawa. She enjoyed poetry, classic black and white movies, sewing and a growing interest in cooking. Carole-Anne was also a foster mom of four young girls from Sri Lanka and Bolivia. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd East on Sunday November 2, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 8 PM, followed by a chapel service at 8 PM. A private gathering will be held in Constance Bay for family and friends on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Donations are welcomed for either Harmony House Women's Shelter (www.harmonyhousews.com) or the Youth Services Bureau (www.ysb.on.ca). The song may seem to have stopped playing, but the angels will sing her melody forever in our hearts. Forever and a Day.
