In Loving Memory of  Wallace Gerald Dittburner November 24th, 1941 – November 16th, 2014 “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Wally Dittburner. Wally was taken by our Lord on Sunday, November 16th, 2014, peacefully at Health Sciences North surrounded by his beloved wife Gwen (Biederman) and his family.  Wally is predeceased by his father Edgar and mother Alma (Wentland). Wally will be forever remembered by his three children; Barry (Melody), Doug and Kathy (Tino) Lavorato and grandchildren Matthew, Philip, Tristan, Sarah, James and Kyle. Dear brother of Wilmer Dittburner (Donna Lynn predeceased), Elaine Wieman (husband Alvin), Eunice Howard (husband Allan predeceased), Cameron Dittburner (wife Bella) and predeceased by Lloyd Dittburner (wife Loralei). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.   Wally worked at INCO as a mining engineer for 33 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be missed by many of his hunting and fishing buddies.  When Wally retired, he and Gwen renovated their cottage and moved out to Lake Ashigami full time where they enjoyed many years of happiness with their special Lake Ashigami friends and with their family. Wally was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Funeral Services will be held at  Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1199 Lansing Avenue on Thursday, November 20th, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, Sudbury.
