It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ron Heale.  Ron was a family man, ever putting his wife and children before himself.  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Ann [Pollock], and by his children, Ronald [Nia], Roberta [Norm], Beverly, Sandra [George] and Susan, and by his nine grandchildren, Charlotte, Katrina, Scarlett, Clifton, Sean, Angela, Stephen, Annie and Henry.  Ron joins his parents Ronald Henry and Aili Esteri Heale (nee Norrena). He will also be dearly missed by his younger sisters and brothers, Dianne, Terry (Beth), Judith and Jan (Candy), and their families.  He was a favourite brother-in-law and uncle of the extended Pollock family. Ron grew up in Copper Cliff, Ontario.  He formed lifelong friendships, which endure to this day.  He became a chartered accountant in 1963 and articled with Stanley R Brunton and Company.  He became a partner in that firm, and had a very successful 52 year professional career working in a number of firms, ending in Heale and Houle in Espanola.  He worked extensively in Sudbury, Espanola, Manitoulin Island and the North Shore.  He formed lifetime relationships with his clients and business partners and was pleased to call them friends. Ron was an excellent golfer, loving and playing the game for his entire life and loved to challenge his fellow golfers. He was a member of the Espanola Lions Club for 37 years and on the board of directors of many local civic organizations.  Ron loved wildlife and had a deep love for all of his many pets during his lifetime. Friends may call at the Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola on Friday, November 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at the United Church of Espanola on Saturday, November 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Lyn Heeley officiating. Interment in the Espanola Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in his memory be made to Pet Save, or to a charity of your choice.
