BARRY, Martha (MARCOUX)

On November 21, 2014, Martha Barry (nee Marcoux) heard the Lord say, ""Well done, my faithful servant."" And He welcomed her through the Gates of Heaven. Predeceased by her first husband Winnie Edkins, and second husband Mike Barry. She will be forever lovingly remembered by her children Donna-Lynn Lamothe (nee Edkins) (husband David), and Darily Edkins. Martha could not have been more proud of her grandchildren; Taylor, Travis, Tyra, and Jamie were the greatest loves of her life. She is survived by her sister Shelvie Boivin (Roy predeceased), Vic Marcoux (Brenda), Davis Marcoux (Phyllis) and Maggie Snaith (Dennis predeceased). Predeceased by her parents, Ed and Ethel Marcoux. Sadly missed by her brother-in-law Mark Edkins, and sister-in-law Marvel Johnston (Mike). Martha's second marriage added to the children of her heart, Bill Barry (Michelle) and their children Phillipe and Alexander. She is remembered in love by Robin Harris, Mary Pawlow, and Steve Green. Many thanks to them for all of their help over the last year. She will be missed so much by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Martha worked at Gloria’s Restaurant for over 40 years. She loved her job, and that was evident in that she put a smile on the face of everyone she served. Martha exuded love. She was always the most generous giver, whether it was her time, her love, service, or even a simple gift. What made her heart smile was bringing joy to others. She dedicated her life to being a servant of the Lord. She faithfully attended service at Grace Family Church, and was loved by all of her spiritual family. Many thanks to Pastors Bob and Amber for all that you meant to her. We will forever miss your smile that could light up any room, your love...and your EPIC baking. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Wednesday, November 26th, 2014 at 11am. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Tuesday and after 9:30am Wednesday). Interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Grace Family Church would be appreciated.
