The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Suzanne St Pierre (née Pitre) of Hanmer and the late Aline St Pierre (née Proulx).  Son of the late Léo and of the late Liliane (née Levasseur) St Pierre.  Loving father of Michel St Pierre (Debbie) of Capreol, Daniel St Pierre of Parry Sound, Donald “Jr.” St Pierre (Stefanie) of Blezard Valley, Roland Roy (Bonnie) of Oxford Mills, Denise Sheppard (Steve) of Sudbury and Guy Roy (Abby) of Barrie.  Predeceased by his daughter Paulette Roy-Serré (Ronald of Hanmer).  Dear brother of Aline Hall (late Gary) of Garson, Claude St Pierre (Sharron) of Burlington and Anne Bazinet (Denis) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brother Denis St Pierre (Marlene of Ottawa).  Cherished grandfather of Eric, Jesse, Devun, Skylar, Kaylee, Patrick, Josée, Matthieu, Céline, Bradley, Dominic and Sophie. Predeceased by his granddaughter Jessica and his grandson Robert. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Don was an avid  Montreal Canadien and Blue Jays fan; he could tell you many stories about his hockey heroes, Jean Beliveau, Rocket Richard and Guy Lafleur. Some of his favorite places to be were fishing on Nipissing and Cache Lake with his wife by his side. Most of all he was a dedicated, supporting and loving husband, father/step-father and grandfather. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.  As expressions of sympathy, donations (by cheque only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
