In Loving Memory of Gerald Vincent “Jerry” Kerr 91 years Peacefully, Thursday, November 27th, 2014 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side.  Beloved husband of Viola (Marenger) Kerr predeceased 1994. Loving father of Marc T. (partner Diane) and Charmaine (husband Robert Antoine). Cherished Pepere of Robert Jr. (Natalie), Yvan (Nikkie), Jennifer (Jamie Gibson), Mylie (John), Eric, David and great grandchildren Wesley, Sadie, Christopher, Caleb, Madison, Kaelynn and Letesha. Dear son of John and Sarah Jane (Gough) Kerr predeceased. Dear brother of Dave Kerr (Ann), Stanley Kerr (Nora) and Jack Kerr (Elsie) all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Pearl Serpell.  A proud Canadian, Jerry served in the RCAF 1939-1945 overseas. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76 having held executive and service positions in the branch. He had been an avid curler in younger years. He enjoyed camping at various parks especially Windy Lake Park. He will be remembered for his wonderful smile and positive personality. He lived life to the fullest. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.   “And in the morning we will remember him.”  Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 5-8 P.M. Saturday, 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday) A memorial service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Sunday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76, Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Monday, December 1st, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76 Poppy Fund or the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated.
