The family announces with great sorrow her passing in her 100th year in Sudbury on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Predeceased by her parents Napoléon and Odile (née Chevrette) Belcourt. Beloved mother of Marcel (Shirley) Lamer of Ottawa and Simone (Richard) Goodfellow of Prescott. Predeceased by her siblings Jérôme (late Annette) Belcourt, Jeanne (late Jacques) Brunelle, Laurette (late Jean-Paul) Raymond, Rolande (late Glenn) Dennie and Léo (Thérèse) Belcourt. Cherished grandmother of Rick (Lisa) Goodfellow, Kim Lamer, Deborah Anne Coligan, Kevin Lamer and great-grandmother of Kristen, Mallory, Melissa, Justin, Jake, Adam, Josh and Abby. Marcel, Simone and family would like to thank Lise for all the care and love she provided for Avela. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 10 to 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Hearing Society would be appreciated.
