Lou is predeceased by mother Estelle (Falardeau) Leblanc, father Jean Louis Leblanc and older brother Donald. Lou was born in Sudbury, raised in Azilda and spent 3 years in Geraldton. Lou worked as a lineman for Hydro One for twenty-nine years, he was well respected by all those he worked with throughout the province. On July 6, 2013 Lou married his life partner of many years Carolyn. He always enjoyed the outdoors and the finer things such as Harleys and guitars. During his illness he obtained his dream Taylor Custom guitar. He spent hours with his dogs, even having his dog as a groomsman at his wedding. Lou touched all who met him. He was a very special, kind hearted person who loved his family, his friends and his dogs. He mostly loved camp on the Vermillion River with his wife Carolyn, Shelley and Grant. The family would like to express their undying gratitude to Sam Oomen, Dr. Linda Tenhunen and Staff especially Barb Ballantyne and Janice Romanko, retired oncologist, Randall Bissett, Dr. Pearce, Lou’s “Harem” Heather, Amanda and Charlene, his two very special angels nurse Gabby and nurse Karen. Their neverending compassion and professionalism was beyond expectations. We thank you all for giving Lou twenty one months quality life. He truly loved you all.
