ANDERSON, T. Armas

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Armas Toivo Anderson at the age of 83 years. Beloved son of Esther and Oscar Anderson (predeceased). Predeceased by siblings Arnie Anderson, Sylvia White (George-predeceased), Robert Anderson (June-predeceased), Elma Frair (Robert of Sault Ste. Marie), George Anderson (Margaret “Betty” of Sudbury) and Kent Anderson. Beloved Father of Troy Anderson. Remembered lovingly by his extended family, Brad and Jeannine Anderson, Charlene (Dean Taha), Melanie (Brian Schutt), Krista (little bud) (Brent Tarini) and the little ones Brianna, Ethan, Emma, Sophie, Ella and Blake. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Armas was known as “Andy the Painter” who worked at Falconbridge Nickel Mines for 40 yrs. The family would like to thank Extendicare York – 3rd floor staff for the excellent care and compassion – a special thank you to Carole, Louise, Karen, Gaetan, Gisele (Frenchie). And thank you Dr. Kuchtarek for your excellent medical care. At Armas’ request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment to be announced at a later date.
