The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Wife of the late Garth Tucker. Daughter of the late Roméo and Gabrielle (née Rousselle) Guay. Beloved mother of Lorna McDonald (Andrew), Andrew (Phyllis) and Brenda Moreau (Daniel). Dear sister of Gisèle Fournier (Ernest), Roland and Raymond (Isabelle). Predeceased by her siblings Roméo Guay and Yolande O’Connor (late Patrick). She is survived by her sisters-in-law Doreen, Yvonne, Mary and Iona. Cherished grandmother of Shawn, Amanda, Claudia, Ashley, Tyler, Shannon and great-grandmother of 6. Jeannine loved cooking and picking blueberries. Her true passion was her family and her husband. The family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to the nurses at Extendicare Falconbridge, Margaret, Marischa, Julie, Anne-Marie and the director of care Erlene. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
