It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Son of the late Georges and late Léa (née Gionest) Prévost. Predeceased by his wife Angèle (née Fournier) Prévost in 2007. Loving father of Daniel Prévost (Kathy), Marc Prévost (Jennifer), Michel Prévost (Lise), Georges Prévost (Anne Gascon) and Lise Prévost. Dear brother of Gilberte, Alda, Uldège, Carolle, Reina and Roger. Predeceased by his siblings; Léo, Bertha, Ludger, Alice, Thérèse, Albina, Ferdinand and Georgette. Cherished grandfather of Michel Jr., André (Aimee), Jean-Marc (Milena), Chantal, Céleste, Stéphane and David. Great-grandfather of Bella and soon to be great-grandfather of twin boys. Step grandfather of Éric, Alain (Melissa), Roxanne and step great-grandfather of Cédric. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St-Joseph Street, Hanmer on Friday, January 30th, 2015 from 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 31st, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Paroisse St-Jacques Church, Hanmer. Donations can be made (by cheque only) to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
