MORISSETTE, Denis

Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Nina (née Charlebois) Morissette of Levack. Son of the late Ernest and the late Thérèse (née Fauchon) Morissette. Loving father of Nancy Morissette, Eric Morissette (Jessica Sinclair) and Melanie Morissette (Zachary Eady). Dear brother of Roger Morissette (Nicole), Irène Plamondon (Gabriel), Rachel Aubin (Lucien), Réal Morissette (Lise), Guy Morissette (Jocelyne) and Gaëtan Morissette (Carol). Cherished grandfather of Thomas, Chelsey, Emily and Adriana. Sadly missed by his family, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Denis will be remembered for his special touch that made everyone feel important. He will be deeply missed by anyone who knew him. Denis was an active member in his community with coaching hockey, playing baseball, golf, curling and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he lived life to the fullest! He will be remembered for his patience, kindness and joyous laughter. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, on Thursday, January 29th, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 30th, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St-Bartholomew’s Church, Levack. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation or to the Onaping Falls Huskies Association would be appreciated.
