February 12th, 2015 at 10:50 AM, a very special lady at the age of 77 (just 2 days before) passed onto God. My wife Anita, mother to Sherry Lynn and mother-in-law to Gilles T. Boisvenue. I and my daughter each holding her hands when she passed, we assured her it was all right to go with Jesus as we will be ok. She was worried about us. There are too many relatives to name, but she loved every one of my brothers (in-laws) and sisters (in-laws) as if they were her children. Anita led a full life. She started her career in Warren, Ontario as a banker and then came to Sudbury to C.I.B.C for over 25 years when she retired (1990). Anita was a quiet lady, never spoke bad words about anyone. She loved camping, fishing, golf and bowling for many years. She also had a great passion to travel. She spent many winters in Florida with her second family and her best friends Donna and Bob Davison. She was an avid card player and excelled at shuffle board. Anita had a great love of music. The love of our lives Anita Emma Maria Caverley (Violette) will be sadly missed. We were able to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary (18280 plus days) (what a grand time). Anita battled with all she had. She fought for 3 years an incurable cancer; never giving up. A special thanks to our daughter who never missed a day at the hospital and stayed with her at night. We would also like to thank Dr. Young, Dr. Cano, Dr. Singh, Dr. Knight, Dr. Addison, Dr. Charette and our family physician Dr. Kuchtaruk. Also all the Angels (nurses) who looked after her. A special thanks to Nada, Sharon and little Debbie in the chemo room, who she held dear to her heart. Thanks to all who helped brighten her last days. There is no visitation upon her request. We will be having a graveside blessing at the Mausoleum at the Civic Memorial Cemetery on Second Ave. Reverend Genny (Bobsey) Rollins will preside. Immediate family and friends on Tuesday February 17th, 2015 at 2pm, to say farewell to a beautiful and loving lady. So long sweetheart. Always on my mind and in my heart. Love forever Clark, Sherry and Gilles. Love you 2-1-3,4,7,8,6,5,9,10 and ½ Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
