In Loving Memory of Nick Harasymko 82 years Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Elsie (Chmara) Harasymko of Sudbury. Loving father of Stephanie Di Bernardo (husband Ramy) of Wisconsin, Christine Laurich (husband Allan) of Azilda and Katherine Kolppanen (husband Kelly) of Guelph. He was the proud grandfather of Samantha, Christopher Di Bernardo, David Laurich (Sarah), Stephen Laurich (Hayley), Jennifer (predeceased), Kurtis and Vanessa Cadorette (Kolppanen). Loving great grandfather of Connor and Aiden Laurich. Dear son of Dmytro and Nellie Harasymko both predeceased. Dear brother of Pearl Tymofichuk of Winnipeg, MB, John predeceased (wife Marion) Harasymko of Kormarno, MB and Jean Nykorack of Steinbach, MB. Nick was born in Komarno, Manitoba on April 27th, 1932. He worked for INCO for 14 years and owned and operated his own business in Coniston. Nick was an active member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church and the Sudbury Ukrainian Seniors Center as well as a 15 year member of the Laurentian Square Dancers and past member of the Minnow Lake Lions Club. He was a very active fundraiser. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call from 2-4; 6-8 p.m. Sunday, with Panakhyda at 7p.m. Sunday.) Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 40 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury Monday, March 2nd, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Sudbury Ukrainian Seniors Center or St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
