FORTIN, Valeda

In Loving Memory of Valeda Fortin Thursday evening, February 26th, 2015 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Loving wife of Raymond (predeceased) and beloved mother of Bob(Carmela), Rick(Jeannette), Larry(Mary) and Céline(Brian). This 86 years old woman went through all of the social and personal challenge of her generation and always did her very best to ensure her family was taken care of.  Right up to the end of her life, she had the heart and strength of a lion, and amazed us all.  She was deeply loved and will be truly missed. We would like to Thank all of the staff at NHSC, St. Joseph Continuing Care and Pioneer Manor for looking after all of us this past year and also the staff at the Cancer Centre in years gone by.  We found very caring, dedicated people throughout her many illnesses, working tirelessly in very demanding jobs. The family will honour her request of no visitation. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. A private family service will be held at a later date.
