The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Val Caron, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Husband of the late Edna (née Belanger) Brabant. Son of the late Adelard and Lauréat (née Boileau) Brabant. Loving father of Raymond (Francine)and Louise Noël (Robert) both of Hanmer and Diane Legeault (Yvon) of Val Caron. Predeceased by his daughter Rachel Brabant. Dear brother of Germaine Tremblay (late Raymond) and Lionel (Valérie). Predeceased by his sister Léonide (late Albert) Denie and by her brothers Eugène (Simone of Val Caron) and Lucien (Jeanne of Val Caron). Cherished grandfather of Stéphane (Darlene), Marc, Hollie (Ivan) and great-grandfather of Riley, Hunter, Bobbie, Madison and Skyler. The family expresses their most sincere appreciation to the staff of the Elizabeth Centre, home area 2 for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Therese.
