Dear sister in law of Vieno Maki (Walter predeceased) and the late Violet and Andy Perttula. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mary was a sweet, caring and lovable person. She was everything you could ask for in a Mom. She was a gentle soul who always looked for the best in everyone she met. She loved reading, picking blueberries, gardening and watching her hummingbirds. Mom was happiest when spending time with her family playing scrabble or canasta and cooking Sunday dinners. As a grandmother she really enjoyed making her famous blueberry pancakes for her grandchildren and their friends. She also enjoyed golfing with her sisters. We will miss her very much and forever cherish her memories but we are comforted in knowing she is at peace. A warm thank you to the 3rd floor staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for their compassionate and loving care in making Mom’s last few years as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.
