WAGNER, Margery

In loving memory of Margery Wagner (nee Jackson) who passed away Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of George Wagner predeceased 2006. Loving mother of Paul (Petrusia Kowal) of Sudbury and Bruce (Lynne) of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Liam. Dear sister of Robert Jackson and Eleanor Jackson predeceased. Margery was a veteran of WW11 and served as an RN at the Toronto General Hospital caring for wounded soldiers. She moved to Sudbury and married George in 1957. Together they raised a family and pursued their interests in travel, art and music. Margery continued her career as a registered nurse working for many years at the Sudbury Public Health Unit. She also enjoyed writing articles for the Northern Life newspaper and teaching at Laurentian University. A proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76 and the Sudbury Opera Guild. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of the Epiphany, 85 Larch Street, Sudbury on Friday, March 27th, 2015 at 11am with a reception in the Church Hall to follow.
