In Loving Memory of Richard Roy Smith 66 years Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at his home. Beloved husband of Sylvia Chevrette predeceased. Loving father of Wilma Tworek, Caroline Leppanen, Kalevi Leppanen, and Arvo Alan Leppanen. Cherished grandpa of Steven, Charles (Regina) and great grandchildren Alexis, Elyse, Zachary, Nicholas, and Charles. Special grandpa of Bradley and Britney. Dear son of Roy and Dorothy both predeceased. Dear brother of Janet (Denis), Miriam (Larry), and Linda (Terry). Loving uncle of Suzanne, Tony and Gregory and predeceased by Stephanie, great uncle of Atalin. Richard worked as a Road Boss with the MTO for over 30 years. He enjoyed reading, puzzles, and had a passion for fixing old cars. He will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, always ready to help others. Memorial Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 at 1pm (Friends may gather after 12 noon Tuesday). Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
