The family announces with great sorrow the passing of our dear mother Rita Marie Dalcourt in Sudbury on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of Joseph Dalcourt (predeceased 1977) and long time friend of the late Laurient Poulin. Daughter of the late Henri Piquette and the late Joséphine Houle. Beloved mother of Marc (Therese) of Sudbury, Ernest of Chelmsford, Armel (Judy) of Kitchener, Ronald (Françoise) and Normand (Diane) of Azilda. Predeceased by her angel baby daughter Denise and angelic grandsons André and Scott Dalcourt. Cherished grandmother of Roxane (Ray), Robert (Pamela), Christopher (Marylou), Stacie-Lynne (Mike), Michelle (Jeff), Paul (Amanda), Yvan, Daniel (Sylvie), Denis (Valerie). Sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Cameron, Isaac, Treven, Chance, Connor, Noah, Hunter, Jace, Turgeon, Taya, Sébastien, Samuel, Xavier, Amadeus, Andréanne, Mathieu, Nicolas and Cloé. Survived by her dear brothers Etienne Piquette of Sturgeon Falls and Urbain Piquette of Kitchener. Predeceased by her sisters Elise Boulay, Gertrude Fournier, and by her brothers Arthur, Marcel, Lucien, Lionel and Claude. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her joie de vivre, her commitment to family values and for her enthusiastic nature. She was the happiest when she could entertain and have her family over for supper. She enjoyed music, dancing, travel and camping. Our mother was a devout catholic who attended church faithfully. The light of her life and her easy laughter will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at York Extendicare for their loving care and compassion devoted to her these past years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Friday, April 10, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Ste-Agnès, Azilda.
