In Loving Memory of Peter Pearce Hallsworth 85 years Friday, April 24th, 2015 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Peter lived a long, interesting and richly rewarding life. The last few weeks have been filled with the things he valued most; his family, love and laughter, and a last sip of Scotch. Son of Florence and Arthur, brother of Pam and Nancy, David and Jocé, husband of Gwenda, dad to Caroline and Guy, Rob and Lisa, Steve and Lori and granddad to Brendan, Charlotte, Laura, Ian, Aidan and Claire, all of whom loved him deeply and will remember him always. Peter was born in England and moved to Canada as the chief librarian of the Sudbury Public Library. He was a man of letters, a sportsman, a connoisseur of the arts and a world traveler. Friends and colleagues are invited to join the family at Voima Hall, Finlandia Village on Tuesday, April 28th, anytime between 2:00 and 7:00 to celebrate and raise a toast in celebration of a life well lived. At Peter’s request, donations may be made online to Medecin Sans Frontiers or the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury Manitoulin. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
