It is with great sorrow that the family announces his sudden passing on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Marcelin and Vilda (née Larocque) Boissonneault. Beloved husband of Anne Marie (née Billein) Boissonneault. Loving father of Sylvain Boissonneault (Courtney Sallows), Carolyn Chevrette (Bill), Zianza Clarke (Terry) and Tim Mackenzie. Dear brother Réjean, Réginald, Carole and Suzanne. Predeceased by his sister Alida. Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Alysha, Julien, Emily, Jessica, Jacob, Arey-elle, Jasmine and Alexandria. Great grandfather of Hailey. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gaston touched many lives and always lent a helping hand. He mastered everything he did and usually would move on to a new hobby except for his RC model planes; that remained his passion and a proud owner of Greater Sudbury Modelers. He was an inventor with many patented ideas. He was a dedicated, successful businessman. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St-Joseph street, Hanmer on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday after 12 noon Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 7th, 2015 2 p.m. at St-Kevin’s Church, 4610 Ste Therese, Val Therese.
