In Loving Memory of Leo Roussy 1935 – 2015 The family of Leo is very saddened to announce the loss of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Leo passed away on Monday, May 18th, 2015 with Stephen by his side and in the arms of his wife of 54 years, Carolyn. He will forever be loved and missed by sons Paul (Loretta) and Stephen and daughter Cheryl Whynott, his granddaughters Kassandra Roussy, Sydney and Taylor Whynott. He is also survived by sister Josette Pozzo and brother Marcel (Emily) and sister in law Audrey Limoges along with many nieces and nephews. Leo was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed moose hunting with his nephews in Chapleau and enjoyed sitting and visiting on the patio with his buddies and neighbours, Jack McCrachen, Ron Jokinen and Denis Lacosse. He took great pride in keeping the yard clean (the dandelions didn’t stand a chance). He will forever be in our thoughts, hearts and memories. A special thank you to his nurse Marion Lajombe for her kindness and care during the last months. Cremation has taken place and as Leo requested there will be no visitation but relatives and friends are welcome to join the family at a memorial service. Memorial Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street Monday, May 25th, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. (Friends may gather after 12:30 P.M. Monday) In lieu of flowers or donations give one another a hug.
